Synopsis

Molly Bishop loves living in Manhattan and managing a boutique luxury hotel. A visit home to Montana and a meddling matchmaking grandfather of childhood friend Christian Ford, (who is now too hot for his own good) may result in a marriage in Montanta... It's not real, but could it be?

This is what I would call a cozy romance, it's romantic and sweet and is set in a small fictional town about 30 miles from Bozeman, MT. Warning, if you prefer your stories with the bedroom doors wide open and the windows steamed up, you may be disappointed. :)

I love to cook and try new recipes and if you do too, you may want to check out the recipe I included at the end of the book, for Lazy Lobster Casserole, the dish that Molly serves her guests at the Rose Cottage Inn's first wine dinner. It's a recipe I know by heart and have made a million times and is great for special occasions. It's a holiday tradition in our family to have it every Christmas Eve. :)

My Thoughts

This novel was a sweet little romance. It made my heart swoon. Two childhood friends reconnecting in the most oddest circumstances ever.

I really liked Molly, she was really sweet to accept the offer and give up everything for six months. But it made me really think that maybe she wasn't as happy in her job as she and the author let on in the book. If she was would she really had given up all that she had worked for?

I wish the novel had a bit more detail and was a tad longer. I pretty much blinked and the six months was over. The author described some details of her six months in montana but not much.

I didn't really like Christian's attitude on love. He was really negative, I mean I've never been engaged and had the engagement break off but even if I had been burned I'd get back on the horse and try again. It's like he gave up because it was easy. Nothing worth it is going to be easy to attain.

I may read the second novel, I'd probably reread this again. It was short and sweet and did it's purpose of warming my heart with gooey lovey dovey feelings.

My Rating: 3.5/5
